How does a banner exchange work?
Answer:
The basic principle of any banner exchange is that you display banners from other member websites on your pages, and in return, your advertising banner will be display on their sites.
The objective is to generate traffic from the other participating websites, the number of banners you show will determine how many times your banner will be shown on other sites.
Typically, the rate of exchange is 2:1 This means that for every two advertising banners you display on your site, your banner will be displayed once on another site.
There are several standard size banners, the most typical is the 468 pixels wide by 60 pixels high graphic ad in GIF or JPG format with 12K to 15K Bytes to facilitate quick download on slower connections.

How Are the ads targeted?
Answer:
There are 3 ways:This ensures a more efficient use of your advertising campain giving you full control of where, when and who your message will be seen by.
- Your ads will be shown only on the sites belonging to categories and language you have chosen.
- Your ads will be shown only on sites from chosen countries and to visitors from those chosen countries.
- You also choose the maximum allowed exposures for a given time period.
Can I exclude a particular category of sites from displaying their ads on my site?
Answer:
Yes, from the "BANNER DISPLAY MANAGEMENT" page in your member's administration section, you have full control over which categories and language you want to display ads for on your site.
A note about banner display management:
When choosing categories to exclude from your site, check to see that the remaining categories are populated, in other words, there are web sites listed under said category.
Choosing empty categories as your categories to be displayed will cause the system to only display the default banner.
If you intentionally cause this to occur, or after being notified of the problem you fail to correct this situation, your account could be put on hold or terminated.
How many banners per account?
Answer:
There are currently 6 banner groups in the exchange.
Banner Group "0" is the default banner group, these are the 468x60 Pixels banners.
You can only have one ad banner in each group and use any or all banner groups at the same time.
All banner can be uploaded to the system directly from your computer or URL on your web site so you can replace the graphic banners as often as you'd like.

Can I have more than one account?
Answer:
Normally you would have only one account per URL.
In some cases where your site houses multiple products or services, we may allow you to have multiple account to promote very distinctive products or services, this will require you to have a separate banner code in place for each additional account in the corresponding page of that product or service.
What is Account Validation?
Answer:
An Account is validated when:
- A free banner exchange member;
- has placed the HTML banner code on his/her website according to our Terms of Use
- And he/she has submitted and we have accepted his/her ad banner(s) into the banner exchange rotation.
- A paid advertiser member purchases advertising credits and;
- payment is received and accepted
- And he/she has submitted and we have accepted his/her ad banner(s) into the banner exchange rotation.
How do I know where my ads are being displayed?
Answer:
The "EXTENDED STATS" page in your member's administration area provides you with a list of websites where your Banner has been displayed the most, including the amount of impressions and click-throughs on each site.
Can I display more than one exchange banner ad on the same page?
Answer:
You can display any or all banner group sizes on your site regardless of the banner size you have submitted but, only one banner Code from each banner group (size) on the same page.
There are currently 6 banner groups in the exchange.
Banner Group 0 is the default banner size, these are the 468x60 Pixels banners
Banner Group 1 = 120x60 Pixels
Banner Group 2 = 234x60 Pixels
Banner Group 3 = 120x90 Pixels
Banner Group 4 = 120x240 Pixels

How can I determine what the bonus credits and exchange rate will be?
Answer:
You could get up to 5,000 bonus credits as bonus credits, as well as a great exchange rate; as high as 3:4 Ratio.
This means that for every 4 banners shown on your site; your account is credited 3 impressions.Here is how it works:
You show our banner ads on your site and we'll credit your account based upon the most-prominent location of the banner code on your website. The more prominent the location, the larger your bonus credits and rate of exchange will be.
HTML Code Placement Bonus Credits * Exchange Ratio Top of home page 5,000 Bonus Credits 3:4 Exchange Rate Bottom of home page 2,000 Bonus Credits 2:3 Exchange Rate Top of other pages 2,000 Bonus Credits 1:2 Exchange Rate * The exchange ratio for your account will be determined by the most prominent placement as shown above.
NOTE: If you change the location of the banner code after receiving your bonus credits to a less prominent location, your account will be adjusted based on the new location.
How many Referral Bonus Credits could I earn?
Answer:
Your account is credited 500 Referral Bonus Credits for each new member you refer and 10 percent of the credits each referred member earns from banner ads shown on his/her website(s).
This could add up depending on how many sites you refer and the amount of traffic these sites get.
A "Referred" member is someone who has clicked on a Referral Button in your site, has signed up for an account in the Construction Banner Exchange and is an active exchange member.
Note: The lower portion of the 468x60 banner ad, where you see the exchange logo, serves as a Referral Link to the exchange. Or, you could choose from other Referral Link buttons in your member's administration area.
How do I join without showing other ads on my website?
Answer:
The signup process is the same; join the Construction Banner Exchange and buy credits via member's admin panel without placing the banner exchange html codes on your site. Your account will be validated as soon as payment is received and accepted and you have submitted and we have accepted your ad banner(s) into the banner exchange rotation.

How do I join the Construction Banner Exchange?

Take a moment to familiarize yourself with the Terms of Use and then follow these easy steps:
This completes the initial process, allow up to 24 Hours for your account to be validated and approved.
- Fill out the Sign-Up form complete with your information including your site title, category, site description and keywords.
- Login with your new username and password, on to the "Member's Section"
- Go into the "Get HTML Code" pag (from the drop down menu), follow the instructions there and copy your unique HTML banner code on to your site's html pages.
- Proceed to "BANNER MANAGEMENT" (from the drop down menu) and Submit your banner via Web Browser from your website or the harddrive in your computer.
