Controversy Over Program to Help Homeowners Sue Realtors and Builders
Posted on 01.29.07 by admin @ 17:31 PST

Black-Mold-Remedation.com, an informational portal for homeowners with mold problems, announces plans to devise a program geared to educate the consumer on their rights to sue.

A Cincinnati women sues her home builder for $75 million because of dangerous mold growth in her home. A Texas family wins $32 million settlement because of black mold. Hilton Hotels spends $55 million to fix mold problems in the Hilton Hawaiian Village’s Kalia Tower. And the lawsuits are just starting to heat up. The big wave hasn’t even hit yet.

“These examples are certainly not the norm – they are the exception. For every big lawsuit like this, you have thousands upon thousands of homeowners and renters who are suffering without anyone to help them.”, said Damion Rutherford, creator of the website.

“The builders and realtors know, or at least should, about the problems. They have legions of high-paid lawyers and hidden print in contracts to protect them. The homeowner has nothing”, added Damion.

Interior Design Student Seeking Help
Posted on 05.04.04 by admin @ 22:48 PDT

Message:
I am a student of Interior Design. I am looking for information on salvaging old residences and other abandoned structures. I need to know what the laws are concerning this type of salvage, where/how to find such salvagable structures, and whom to ask to gain entry to a certain property legally. If you can be of any assistance in directing me to this information, or to someone who can help, I’d really appreciate it.

Sincerely,
Nancy
