Traditionally, there are several methods to publish dwg files on the web.
1. Converting dwg to image, such as jpg, gif etc. This is verctor to raster conversion, you can't zoom the image to see the details of the design.
2. Converting dwg to pdf. PDF is the most common used file format to publish dwg files, but you still need Acrobat Reader, and can't integreted in the web page seamlessly.
3. Converting dwg to dwf. It is a good choice, but you still need download get a dwf viewer from Autodesk.
While FlashDWG is a vector to vector converter, supports zoom in/out, and need no additional programs or plug-in, is a perfect way to publish dwg files on the web.
FlashDWG is an AutoCAD Add-in, you can convert dwg to flash within AutoCAD, supports AutoCAD R14 ~ AutoCAD 2005.
